The Crown of Glass follows the tale of Patrick Granger, searching for his lost love Helena Winscott using a strange device that communicates with the stars through a landline phone.
After the musician Patrick Granger releases his debut album, his wife Helena Winscott leaves without a trace. Granger grieves the disappearance, only having a photo and her departure letter as the final sign of her existence.
Once her disappearance hits the news, Granger is wanted for the murder of Winscott; to prove his innocence, he pursues the search for her, following whatever trail he can find. Granger stumbles across a device, known as The Cosmic StarDuster, that is seamlessly designed to attach to a landline phone - converting it into a form of cosmic radio, communicating with the stars. Following the stars, Granger believes Winscott to be guiding him towards what he's been looking for all along, under the Crown of Glass constellation. As her blue star in the sky flickers, Granger runs across cosmic curses, a haunted library, ghosts in the machine, and finds himself lost in The Strangest Unknown.
